Understand the 2nd ammendment. One of our basic rights as Americans is the Right to Bear Arms. This isn't just so we can own guns to hunt with and protect ourselves, but to also protect from a tyrannical government. If the government and armed forces were only those with arms, who will protect citizens when the government is tyrannical? Don't think for a second it can't happen here in the US. It already is.
I chose China as the greater threat, because their is no choice for "NEITHER":
A. China owns a huge portion of the US debt. They have no benefit in attacking us militarily or seeing us fail economically
B. The threat of the USSR was primarily based on propoganda and fear due to cold war and anti-Communism. The fear benefitted the Military Industrial Complex with decades of wars, conflicts and perpetual arms race.
C. Our greatest Natl. Security as citizens threat is our own government and the gradual abolishment of the US Constitution
We need to remember recent history. We were told Iraq and Saddam Hussein was a threat with WMD's. We invaded the country and occupied it for a decade on that fact. Where were the WMD's? Nowhere. It was a convoluted story to establish reason to invade. Same crap is taking place in Iran. Don't buy into it. Don't be a sheep. If we engage in war with Iran it wil not be a summer picnic at the park. Fix this country first.
Is it right for me? No. Is it right for others? Who the hell am I to say? For that matter, who the hell is anyone to say what is right or wrong for any other as long as it doesn't hurt others? People who judge others need to mind their own f*ing business!! Those who cast judgement and assert their beliefs as "holier than thou" are psychopathic control freaks. How would I react if I learned my son were gay? Well, I wouldn't be thrilled since I'd like to have grandkids someday, but he's still my son and I wouldn't love him any less. I'd understand he was born that way and I'd encourage him to feel happy and comfortable being who he is.
