I think Obama's speech was motivational for the most part. It was meant to all the students to keep working hard and not to drop out of schools. He talks about when he was young and that his live wasn't easy either and that he can also relate to us. And he's prove that if you work hard and set your mind to something you can accomplish anything. And his encouraging us to keep on trying.
