You know when you get a new car, and you're really excited and feel so good and special driving it? And then all of a sudden, you see that same exact car EVERYWHERE you look?

We get what we focus on folks, real or imaginary, makes no difference. Mass Media has decided, in its infinite wisdom, that Global Warming is the hot topic of the day, and as consumers of said media, we're buying in. Whether we're contributing factors or innocent bystanders is inconsequential. So many people now believe that this is a real issue, and are in such a panic about it, it has become a reality.

I have an idea...how about we all start believing there is a Porsche in my driveway. Ready...go.

All religions have an agenda that is not always as closely related to it's origins as we may like to believe. It is like any other institution in this way. So can Religion be scary? Sure, just as public education or political parties can be. If you hand over your individuality, your ability to think for yourself, that's the price you pay. But let's call that what it is...'user error'.

Listen, I understand the draw to Biden...he's charismatic, has a lot of FP experience, he's a great orator, the list goes on. But I'm bothered by the fact that nobody in a position to be heard seems concerned about this at all. Hello? Have we forgotten the 'candidate for change'? Worse, has Obama forgotten? You can't campaign on such a message...you cant feel that message resonate and build momentum in such a way as hasn't been seen and felt for years within the Democratic party, nay, the democratic United States of America, and then chose a 30 plus year veteran of Washington as your running mate.

Damn the consequences Obama. You came to inspire us to believe in the possibilities of a greater union. You came to show us that politics as usual doesn't have to be the only way. You came to set a precedent, and to make history.

Or did I misunderstand?

Is the author suggesting that Sessions’ sizable coffers are the reason for his lead? Or that his hefty finances are causing a public backlash against him? The latter seems unlikely, since Sessions enjoys a healthy lead (58% to 31% according a recent Rasmussen Reports survey). So I'm left to assume it's the former.

Yet another stretch. Sure, money could play a role, but so could many other factors. Assuming it's the money does nothing but affirm the author's bias. The fact is, Sessions is a popular incumbent with support even among Democrats, not to mention a big lead with independents.

The truth of the matter is, this is one race that actually deserves Coloradans' attention. Both candidates have significant track records to point to that clearly define their politics. If even one of them can avoid the ever popular 'run to the middle' as the election draws near, we may have a race that lives up the democratic ideals this country was founded on.
