While some of the addictions are believable (eating chalk or toilet paper), some of them are clearly made up just to see how many imbeciles believe that crap. There was a guy that was in love with his car to the point that he was having sex with it (they did not detail exactly how that worked, but I think we could imagine a number of ways and I hope he uses HEET gas additive for his tank). I generally try to avoid ANYTHING that airs on TLC (I remember when that used to be The Learning Channel and had educational shows on it) but the wife watches it. I generally don't believe most of the crap they show other than the irritating midgets and dwarves shows.
