Please clarify on what you mean by "Evidence"? Is it something that you want to see, touch, feel, taste, hear? Something that is proven by Science?

It is completely ILLOGICAL to say that God does not exist because based off of what you said you do not have evidence YET. God did not appear to you in whatever form and said "Hey i exist". Whereas in my case, someone cannot completely with all the hard-proof and evidence come to a conclusion and say "He does not exist".

The reason why this is a complete illogical fallacy is because human beings are just BEGINNING to delve deep into studying the oceans, space, and galaxies that exist, let alone the things we have not found. Our earth is like a ring in the desert, and we barely can even get to Mars let alone other galaxies. Prove to me that God does not exist(You can take your entire lifetime to prove that to me but the only proof and rebuttal you will ever make is "Prove to ME that he does?".

Religion isn't meant to be picked like cherries because it's convenient for you and low maintenance. Think about it, if you were God, and you created this abode of eternal bliss and happiness where you pretty much can ask for anything and your wish is granted(reminds me of Aladdin), now logically speaking, do you really think it will be that easy? Do you really think God just created all of this and was like "alright guys go out lie, cheat, steal, bang people and your golden"? Or does one have to strive and struggle to satisfying the commands of his creator?

I'm just trying to be logical here, if i had a million dollars and summoned about 100 people to do what i instruct them to do in order to be awarded the million dollars, no way in hell will i make it easy and yes i will put them through difficulty because I DO NOT have to give you the reward that is MINE and YOU are in need of what i have.

People in the past truly believed that it was IMPOSSIBLE to fly, speaking to somebody halfway across the world(Texting, AIM)), seeing someone halfway across the world(Facetime, Skype), and exploring and landing on other planets. Just because science has not discovered or proved God does not mean he does not exist. You remind me of one of those "People of the Past" who deny everything until VOILA! it's proven.

I agree with 'AveSatanas' that the Quran does abrogate a previous verse with a newer verse that is contradictory.

For example, the tradition of the Arabs living in those times was that drinking was heavily consumed among all tribes of Arabia especially the tribe of Quraish, which the Prophet as well as most of his earlier followers belonged to. When God sent down the revelation about alcohol, he initially did not condemn it, he says, "Do not approach prayer while you are drunk…" [Nisa:43] Now keep in mind, the Surah Nisa was one of the earlier Chapters revealed to the Prophet and did not prohibit alcohol. In the later years of his Prophethood, God sent a revelation saying, "O you who believe! Alcohol, gambling, [sacrificing for] idols, and divining of arrows are only an abomination [of Satan's work…]" [Maidah:90-91] which strictly prohibited alcohol to the Muslims.

God didn't prohibit alcohol all at once, but rather in a gradual process. Logically speaking, if one were to give up smoking or any type of substance-abuse that one would want to essentially eradicate in his/her life, your advised by many doctors and physicians as well products that are flying off the shelves (Patches, Nicotine Gum, Menthol Lights) to move on gradually.

I'm currently studying Theology and have done numerous amounts of research in many religions and have come to a conclusion that out of all the books i have studied, the Quran has been by far the most logical and rational, in my opinion of course.

I'm currently studying theology in the 3 main monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) and have done numerous amounts of research in Islam as well as the Quran (Holy Book) and have come to a conclusion that this book similar to the Torah and the Bible is a contextual book and not a book that should be read in a literal context.

The Quran was sent down to the Prophet in Chapters for a span of 23 years not in one single revelation as most people assume. During his prophet-hood, in times where the Prophet encountered a situation that was unprecedented or matters that were unfolding for the first time, God sent down these Chapters (i.e verses instructing the prophet on how to fight against the opposing forces or how to treat other religious minorities such as the Jews living in his city or how to punish an adulturer or stealer. Keep in mind flogging and killing someone who commits adultery or stealing was completely standard in those days even in the America's in the 19th century)

I personally challenge all of you to read this Book whether an agnostic, the People of the Book, atheist or any other ideology that one might have. Not only understand what this book is, but what is Islam? Why is it the fastest growing religion in the world? What is attracting millions of people to this religion that has been labeled as a religion of "terrorists"? If Muslims are truly supposed to go out and blow themselves up and terrorize people, why do they exist today if that's what their religion instructs them to do? Better yet, why is Islam in existence after 1400 years if the Prophet and his people were supposed to blow themselves up and commit suicide? Is this what this religion preaches or is it something else that we are unaware of that makes this religion the fastest growing in the world?
