Actually, I really think the opposite. The government is the reflection of the society

"What the friendship line should be is the line at which you can be friends without making some sort of hurtful act towards or against a romantic relationship."

Hurtful act? You must be kidding me. How old are you? 12?

Also, that's just what I said. It's impossible to "cut" the sexual attraction, so there isn't any kind of "line" ou "barrier" (the word you used), since you don't know what can happen. You can fall in love with your friends, there's nothing that prevents you from doing that. The friendline you say is just an ilusion

First: They are not capable of the same things. That's biological

Second: The friendship line I speak is the "barrier" you think that keeps you from having any "romantic interest". It doesn't exist since romantic love is only one side of the coin. I'm saying that the friendship as a relationship without sexual attraction is impossible.

Third: Sexual attraction isn't only bound to beauty, love or romantic feelings. It's up to behavior and physical characteristics.

I support the idea of men and women being friends, but there's not any line that keeps them from having sex or loving each other. I've had sex with friends, my girlfriend was my best friend and I have already had "romantic love" with women that were not my friends. Friendship, love and sexual attraction are different feelings, but they don't counter each other.

These things that are "meant to be" just doesn't exist. They are just excuses for those who are too lazy or too afraid to chase their goals and change their fate

The question is not if you should FOLLOW your culture. You're really not obligated to. But you do have to pay attention to it, since it's a culture that surrounds you. It's the same thing as needing to learn your country language or what's happening in the world. You don't have to agree to it, but you have to cognize it

Actually there are a lot of other differences between then, like cerebral areas of command and so on. The main question is what is supposed to be a friendship line. Is it just a situation when you like to be next someone but doesn't want to have sex with him/her? I think it's wrong because people are compelled to be together by biological and evolutive behaviors, and a real (I said REAL) friendship has also its amounts of sexual attraction.

We should pay attention to our culture, not only because of ourselves, but also because culture is more than dance, music and religion. Culture is mostly made of relations between human beings in their social environment, so it's important to at least understand the values and traditions of those who live next to us.
