point guard, the shooting guard2, the small forward, the power forward, and the center are positions, so we do have positions. they may change positions but they certainly don't just run around like a herd of cattle.
if someone steals the ball in soccer you have to work hard for it, i do agree with that, however it's really unlikely for someone to be holding the ball in triple threat and someone steals it. don't get me wrong, i like soccer, but not as much as i like basketball.
