Kuwait should be blamed for starting the gulf war as they diluted the oil market and caused Iraq's economy to decline . As Iraq is still recovering from its war , it needed to generate revenue to boost its economy . They decided to do so by selling oil . Kuwait was too concerned with making money and continued to overproduced despite the set quota by OPEC . The source states " a Kuwaiti official said , "We'll make the economy in Iraq so bad , one would be able to sleep with an Iraqi woman for ten dinars."" . I can infer from this that Kuwait kept overproducing to leave oil prices low , preventing Iraq from rising up again . Thus , Iraq had no choice but to invade Kuwait as Kuwait was challenging Iraq's way of life by harming the economy .

But emoticons may not be true . As when people say "LOL" they are not actually amused by whatever the previous statement was . They are simply trying to make the conversation less awkward by trying to show some emotions that may not naturally be true and honest.

Why take the time to meet up , when you can be at the same place together and deciding what to do . Planning things online may not always be perfect as there are different factors that may change for example , the movie is fully booked etc . When you are at the place itself though , you are able to walk around and discuss what you would rather do .

Although being friends with someone may take time , you get to bond together through common events that have happened or conversations . Talking online may not necessarily make you friends as they may not be free at that time and just rush off a reply to satisfy you

But what is the true point of interacting when it lacks human emotion . Communicating with each other face to face is part of everyday life . Even though you say something that may get you in trouble , that was the first opinion that you gathered from the previous statement . Why try and change what you are trying to say when the first thing that comes into your mind is your true and honest opinion . If people get to used to this , instead of honest conversations between 2 individuals , people over think their sentences and they dont say what comes to their mind at first.

But what is the point of knowing what they doing when you are both at different places . Instead of tweeting or even posting what they are doing , isn't it better to be doing different forms of activities together so you can have a common experience in person ? And rather than finding out what they like by looking through the facebook page , why not go out and experience them with each other and maybe enjoy that common interest together

That is not necessarily the case . Yes , social media allows us to interact with people we may have never have talked to . But what is the point of that when they are just words on a screen with little emotion/feelings behind them ?

People are getting too over-reliant on the issue of using social media . Individuals are being more accustomed to using different forms of social media for hours a day . They use social media to talk to different people around the world . But their reliance on using social media has hindered their ability to talk face to face as they do not have to hide their own personal opinion . As they are hiding behind a keyboard , they have a sense of confidence behind them which makes them more vocal about the different issues. Since they isn't a need to hide their personal opinions which may be offensive to them , they talk using a keyboard and thus are less social

So if you step foot on something first, you are the founder? No it does not. Raffles did step foot first but he only did that while Farquhar made improvements to the coutry.

Raffles was the one who provided all the funds and supplies, but Farquhar was the one who used it to do good for the Country.

But he only thought of the ideas but Farquhar did all the work for Raffles, all his ideas.
