There are many debate about what is more important, free healthcare or free college education. While both are essential for a functioning society, I believe that free healthcare is a more pressing concern. Healthcare is a human right, and no one should be denied access to medical care. College education is important, but it can be delayed or postponed if necessary. Healthcare, on the other hand, is an immediate need. People who are sick or injured need medical attention right away, and delays can often be fatal. In addition, healthcare costs can bankrupt families, even if they have insurance. College education may be expensive, but it doesn't have the same life-or-death consequences as healthcare. For these reasons, I believe that free healthcare should be our priority over free college education.
Liberalism is the correct way to think for a number of reasons. First, it individualizes people and gives them credit for their own thoughts and actions. Second, it relies on reason as the guide for discovering truth and meeting human needs, instead of blindly following tradition or emotion. Third, liberalism upholds the idea of natural rights - that is, the rights we have simply because we are human beings - which means that everyone is entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Finally, liberalism promotes a society in which people can freely interact with one another, exchange ideas, and pursue their own interests without harming others. In short, liberalism is the best way to think because it is based on reason, individualism, and freedom - all of which are essential for a just and prosperous society.
