I believe children should have homework, when there after school activities are more flexible. I say this because some parents tend to overload their children with extra curriculum activities to help keep their kids busy, and I sometimes don't think that is fair; Children should spend more time studying or researching the grade level the child is on; Now if the child likes to be over work or just think better under pressure, then yes elementary schools should have homework after school. A reason why I think that children may NOT have homework, is because instead of doing homework kids can just do In-Class Assignments with their class mates to get different opinions on the lesson and the kids can also just the study the notes that thy learn from each other; and if that method is being used then once 3:45p.m hits the kids can spend more time thinking about the task at home whatever that maybe and be successful at it as well....

We should learn about US history in 8Th grade because , I believe that's this is the year when kids should be generous enough to try to learn or care about the country they are from.. I say this because kids at this age are yet to find them selves and who they really are, and starting with US history should give them a clear mind set on who they want to be or what positive characteristics they might want to pick up own..And honestly speaking don't matter what grade your in its still important to know your country history, because the U.S history is your history.
