I never support any extra regulation that is simply not needed, and this is that. If parents have a problem with their kids using such sites, then it is their responsibility to control it. Moreover, any kid who becomes obsessed with these sites to such an extent that they are not able to properly communicate would most likely not be very successful in life, regardless of their internet use. Not to mention, with technology as large scale as it is today, these kids ages 12-15 would simply find another computer related activity to focus on.

Cigarettes are definitely more harmful than weed is. Both can affect lungs, however weed doesn't cause cancer and is certainly much more healthy. Also considering you smoke less weed than you do cigs, so even the lung factor is far less severe for weed than it is for cigs.

I respect everyone's beliefs. I do not associate myself with any particular religion, and in truth I am just as puzzled as anyone else. All I know is that there are major faults with the Christian belief system. The most obvious is that of evolution. According to The Bible, humanity began with Adam and Eve. Yet scientists have discovered that this did not happen, and have extensive evidence to support that evolution is the true means to the beginning of humans. Being brought up in a home were religion was not stressed at all, it is hard for me to support a system that has proven flaws. Certain people may find comfort by linking themselves to a religion, and this is fine. However, it is hard for me to personally do this when certain aspects are simply not correct. And at this point in time, it's not a question of if you believe in evolution or not. It happened. Knowing this I am not sure how anyone could fully support Christianity. Any system that requires your commitment for your life long beliefs should be 100% accurate in my opinion. Since it is not, it is hard for me to see why so many feel so strongly about it. I say people are better off focusing on their current lives, and worry about the afterlife when it comes.
