Are you suggesting the youth of yesterday were overflowing with creativity? I don't see evidence for this at all. If anything, thanks to technology, the youth of today have more means to be creative than were available in the past; many of them use those means daily. Search youtube and see how many videos are made by kids, search myspace and see how many young bands there are. Those are just the examples from the world of the internet, the real world contains constant creativity from all corners.
Also other people that are commenting saying that the jonas bothers and co are not creative are just wrong. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they are not creative. In fact, the very fact that you have an opinion on them means they must be at least somewhat different to what has come before and therefore creative.
