Give me any good reason outside of bible verses. chances are you cannot. society sees this as a terrible ace because of our dominant religion Christianity, I have not seen any other reasons this is a bad thing. they quote Leviticus and claim it evil. Without the bible tell me why it is bad.

i think ignorance can easily be good. I'm going to give you the scenario from a book called "Flowers for Algernon" the main character is absolutely mentally handicapped. he works at a factory, where his co workers, Unbeknownst to him because of the mental capacity he possesses. he is chosen for a miracle drug to increase his intelligence. once this happens he notices that his "friends" are making fun of him, he loses his job, and he is overall different. to him ignorance was bliss.
