Maybe several years from now everybody will have the same privileges before the law, but in my opinion there still are differences, although some won't recognize it.

I don't think the Catholic Church should allow gay marriages because a lot of people would disagree. Even if there aren't many references in this religion against homosexual couples, I don't think it would be necessary to change such an ancient tradition, as long as gay marriages are allowed outside the Church.
