A new report has confirmed that China continues to kill innocent people for their organs. The report, titled Bloody Harvest/The Slaughter: An Update, was released by the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC) and details the latest findings on China’s forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience.
Since the release of the original Bloody Harvest report in 2006, there have been numerous reports of forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience in China, including Tibetans, Uighurs, and Falun Gong practitioners. The new report provides updates on these cases and confirms that the Chinese government is still engaged in this horrific practice.
According to the report, Tibetans are being killed for their organs on a large scale, and there have been numerous cases of Tibetan monks and nuns being forcibly removed from their monasteries and disappeared. Uighur Muslims are also being targeted, with mass arrests and disappearances occurring throughout Xinjiang province. And Falun Gong practitioners continue to be persecuted and killed for their organs, with recent estimates suggesting that as many as 60,000 have been murdered for this purpose.
This latest report once again exposes the Chinese government’s brutality and callousness.
