Yes i agree that technology is more boon than a bane to society as we regularly uses technology to entertain ourself, checking for information, asking friends if there is home work on that day or solutions for question. In my opinion,I agree to technology being more of a boon than a bane in society.In the first place,technology was created and developed so that life would be made easier for us.It has indeed made our life easy,comfortable,simple and luxurious.Technology has gifted mankind with various boon but I feel that technology have blessed mankind with two very important aspects-facility of communication and creation of time.(Point)

Facility of communication

Creation of phones,fax,paging services,video conferencing are examples of a few communciation facility that the human mind has been able to conveice with the aid of technology.All these have made any parts of the world easily assesable with the internet.Technology has ensured that one can communiciate with anyone on land,in air or under the sea.(Elaboration+Evidence)

Create of time

With computers,it can do more things at less time with its ability to save time and human efforts.Its ability to work on data and to reach the logical end of a particular task is priceless.But however,they are programmed by humans and do not have their own personal thinking.They would then not be able to do things that only humans can do and be given other tasks.Therefore,in the modern world people juggle more tasks and responsibilties at the same time of being efficent and productive.They would then be needed to multi task.(Elaboration+Evidence)

Rebuttal

This is where the disadvantage part of technology comes.When multi-tasking,it deprives a human being from enjoying his task because he no longer focusses on the task at hand but rather focusses on the process of juggling many tasks at the same time.Such an activity also leads to unneccesary stress.Stress is the bane of technology.With computers doing most of the things,unemployment occurs.(Elaboration+Evidence)
