The Unites States will be the superpower of the future.

Economy winner: China

The economic systems of China and the US are relatively similar and neither one is completely flawless. The deciding factor that sets the US back is their astonishing amount of debt. They have over 20 trillion dollars in debt whereas China has over 4 trillion (money in USD)

Military winner: US

China may have more man power than the US, but that doesn't make them better. Children in China are forced into the military at age 18-24 and there is no minimum age for voluntary service. Every Chinese citizen is, has been, or will be in the military at some point in their life, even inexperienced people and children. In the US, the minimum service age is 18 years, or 17 years with parental consent.

Government winner: US

Similarly to the economic systems, the governments of China and the US are fairly similar. It is divided into branches. One difference between the two systems is that the US is split into 2 major political parties: democratic and republican. The US is also a democracy, meaning that the citizens get to have a say in who leads them. China is communist. Essentially, this means that all property is publicly owned and everyone gets paid based on their abilities and needs.

I agree with what you said about China's amount of manpower. More people does not mean better.

The USA should be concerned about North Korea Because it says that a new atomic bomb could be created in the next 18 months more powerful than the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Little Boy and Fat Man.

Then I guess Donald Trump is real mature and all the teenage entrepreneurs out there are pretty childish, huh?

I disagree because there were other ways to show that the US is powerful than taking hundreds of thousands of innocent lives.

I agree with Hannah because there were probably easier and less deadly ways to end the war with Japan.

The United States was wrong to drop bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because doing so took the lives of about 220,000 people, most of which were innocent. Not only did Little Boy and Fat Man kill Japanese citizens, they also flattened the towns that they were dropped on. The United States claimed that the bombs were dropped to end the war created by the attack on Pearl Harbor and spare the lives of tens of thousands, but Japan saw hundreds of thousands of lives lost in an instant.

Your age has nothing to do with how mature you are, I have seen people who are 12 be more mature than some 30 year old's that I know.

It depends. If you feel that you aren't ready to start driving until the age of 18, don't. But, plenty of people are prepared to drive at 16, and there should be nothing to stop them from doing that. Also, to be legally allowed to get behind the wheel of a car, one would have to go through tests and first have their learners permit.

The 5 should keep veto powers because it has been used to prevent war. There hasn't been a world war since the Security Council was created, and it should remain the same to prevent world wars in the future.
