I think just because you have a good reason to use violence doesn't make it the good thing to do. Its never the good thing to do, in my opinion.

You haven't lived a life if you haven't found meaning in the things you do. If you don't find meaning in the actions you take, and the words you say, then you aren't essentially living life to its fullest. And living life to its fullest is the greatest thing you can do. For some, that may mean being happy, for others, constant drama. All I know is that I can watch a TV show and laugh till I can't breathe, and I find meaning in that. And that meaning is that I am happy. So meaning all the way.

Whether your side is that God is good or not, it really doesn't matter. The idea of God is totally subjective. Everyone who believes in God should have their own opinion of who God is and God's role in this world. Anyone who believes whatever they are taught needs to look further. My opinion of God is that God is good. The Bible will not change that, because God did not write the Bible. God is different on every page, and that is no coincidence. But everyone will have their beliefs, and most people will disagree. That's why this is a debate. My point is, you can't base your beliefs on what others say. You can let them influence you, and enlighten you, but ultimately your beliefs depend on you alone. Even the Bible must be taken with some measure of caution. Times change, people change, and God also changes. God was there before this world and God will be here after it, but that doesn't mean God never changes. God is good, that is my belief. That's why there's laughter and websites like this.

The definition of fun (from the Random House Dictionary) is something that provides mirth or amusement. With that definition being what it is, the definition of fun for most people is different. If we are centering on the idea of "fun," though, we must fulfill the definition. Children are very easily amused. A child can play for hours in the sand, focusing on just a rock. Children also have more of a tendency to laugh than adults do. There are the choice few adults that have a "child-like" spirit, meaning they laugh easily and are very exuberant. Even the most gloomy adults can be filled with this "child-like" spirit when they are amused or excited. This is because the experiences that shape our ideas of what is fun happen in our childhoods. The core idea of "fun" for everyone is based completely on experiences. That is why it is more fun to be a child. Because they're behavior fulfills the definition, and the unique idea of "fun" is based on childhood experiences. Admittedly, being an adult has it's advantages. However, the idea of "fun" stems from the childhood.
