yes, i certainly feel that women empowerment is becoming a reality. yes, the are cases of eve teasing, dowry abuse, sexual harassment, but this is the case in india. yes, also around the world, there are such cases but it is very low.women are competing with men in almost every aspect of life, be it working, taking care of home, studies, science etc. see, the president of thailand,yingluck shinawatra is a woman. the former president of india, mrs. prathiba patil is also a woman. women play a big role in politics. for example, the external affairs minister of india and the human resource and development are both women. this shows that women are certainly being empowered. some say, if they are being empowered, why are the cases of women harassment increasing? I say that women empowerment is taking place but not at that speed it needs to.
