Bottom line is, feeling uncomfortable does not make one any less of a human. As such, humans deserve respect--I mean, there is an uncountable number of feminists, as society today is believing in gender equality. Someone who is transgender or gender non-conforming falls under gender equality, as well. Both those who identify as transgender or who have gone to be considered transsexual are not abominations--what is an abomination is the amount of hatred taken towards people based on their identity. I believe in diversity, and even if gender was very black and white and only male or female, there's still a spectrum. No one conforms to stereotypes completely; a cisgender man can like pink, and a cisgender woman can like racecars. Does that make either of them any less of what they identify? No. There will always be a spectrum, even if not as open as the one that has caused such an uproar. Societally, we have learned to conform. But, as humans, we don't all conform the way we're expected to--we're human, and we're all different. So, no, the trans community is not an abomination.

The idea that everything needs labels is absurd, but the idea of sexualities makes sense--every human is different. People will always have clashing experiences and opinions, it's the beauty of diversity. Being straight could be a matter of romantic attraction, or a matter of sexual desire. One may outweigh the other, or they may be equal--that doesn't make a person any less straight, it just means they experience their attraction in a different form than others. The 70+ sexuality idea is based off of this diversity, and while I admit it may sound "ridiculous" and "absurd" to some, it's only a form of compensating for the uniquity of each individual living being to reside on this planet. It's the same idea of gender--even if you are cisgender, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll fall into stereotypes. Stereotypes will always be stereotypes, and that's not going to change--it's a societal fault. With stereotypes comes a need to fit in, and fitting in normally means following new stereotypes under new labels to feel comfortable. There are not enough labels to fit every single person on our planet--70+ sexualities is just the beginning of a sea of individuality.
