Toilet seat up or down!! Pointless because it would be 50/50 right? Wrong... everyone knows it should always be down!
If you want the relationship to last and you have a vested interest in it then I think with time and likely outside help (therapy) you are able to rebuild what you once had! Statistics indicate 60% of married men cheat and 40% of married women, not sure about the singles. WOW!
First off let me say, "What a wonderful child you are planning for Father's Day!" Can you tell I'm a parent? One suggestion is to try and recall what he has given for gifts or talked about giving, generally people give what they'd like to get.
Also speaking "from the parents" perspective, if you can do something with him this would also be nice, when we have all we need as parents, it's just nice to have "time" with our children. I know this sounds sappy but someday you'll all understand.
Hawaii and the Caribbean have a few basics in common; sand, water, beaches, and hotels. But they are vastly different! Depending on the Hawaiian island you choose you can find volcanoes, lava flows, BLACK sand beaches, mountain hiking, and Waimea canyon (a 10 mile long, 1 mile wide and 3500 foot deep canyon), and a vast range of cultures.
Hawaii is definitely worth the trip. Each island offers something different and Aloha airlines makes it fairly easy and inexpensive to day trip from one to another.
I've been to both multiple times and although the Caribbean is easier and usually less expensive to get to I would choose Hawaii and recommend at least one trip there for everyone!
Depending on my mood, my dollars are spent at Burger King (best onion rings) or White Castle (when I can get back to the Midwest)
Hands down, "It's a wonderful life". I know it's an old movie but the message is ageless. How would the lives of those around you change if you were suddenly gone! Makes you think, makes you laugh, makes you cry, makes you glad you're alive.
Digital communication is enhancing our communication with those we "choose" to communicate with. But how many times a day are we so busy talking with someone on the phone and failing to communicate with the people sitting right in front of us? There is a time and a place to digitally communicate but there is also a time and place to speak to the person right beside you! Carpe diem!
I too am proud to be an American. One could say that I am an American "by birth" and had no choice in the matter but as I look at the US and other nations this is where I choose to be. No country or government is perfect but aren't we responsible for that, don't we have the option of choice in the US. Read, investigate and be informed next time you vote, how many American citizens can actually tell you who their Senators and Representative are and what they believe in?
This country was founded by men and women who wanted something better and freedom. We are allowed to question and be critical of the workings of our country and I often think we are too focused on the criticism. The United States is a beautiful country filled with wonderful, intelligent and talented people. Stand up and be proud, if we were all a little more positive in our patriotism maybe we would enjoy our daily lives a bit more!
Create Debate will be a great forum to pose questions and peruse what others are thinking about topics. If a topic is presented that one doesn't know a lot about it could change your mind based on the ideas and "facts" presented. At least it will be enlightening to see how others view the world and what is happening in it. That's why I listen to NPR and conservative talk radio, to get different perspectives!
