I joined this website just so I can tell you how horribly ignorant your post is. First off saying our military is made of high school dropouts is horribly inaccurate, yes you can drop out and get a GED but you still have to be know enough to get it, and everyone I know that has ever served completed high school, and I guess you forgot about the 1000's of young men and women in the military academys and ROTC programs. I personally am going to do the ROTC because I believe everyone has the obligation to give back to the country that shelters them. And as for only willing people joining up, I guess you forgot about the drafts for WWI WWII and Vietnam, and probably a few others im missing. And lastly as for america being indecisive and ununited, they would have to be decisive and untited to actually go to war because either the US is attacked, which would bring forth Pearl Harbor like sentiments, or Congress voted to go to war. Now as to the actual topic, if any country went to war with china they would haave allies and china too would have allies, it really all depends on who attacks and what the global situation was like at the time.

US-would become a World War with the NATO countries siding with the US and other countries in Asia, and China would be supported by Russia North Korea and Iran and a few other middle eastern countries too.

Russia- Russia would be largely on their own for we would side with China because of our massive debt, but the other countries of euorpe might not intervene until russia itself is taken over or looks like it will be for they then will have to face the threat wthat would be total super power china(for both the US and Russia would be defeated)
