Listening to music in class has really helped me focus more and actually understand what I'm learning about. Due to the fact that classrooms tend to get extremely noisy and busy, listening to music (with earphones/headphones) can create a peaceful atmosphere, something that all students need. In addition, the reason students talk to other students in class is because they are bored, but with music, that boredom is reduced, so students pay more attention to their work. And with most people listening to music, there is also a peaceful atmosphere for the teacher. Also, teachers are more like a guide in my class, not an instructor. So we are more independent and are able to use are creativity and study in ways that are effective for us, because everyone is different. This way of teaching is extremely useful.
