[ e ] firstly, tourism boosts local employment for sectors like the hotel industry, transportation companies and air travel etc. [ e ] since there are more tourists coming in and out of the country, more jobs are created in order to help maintain these services. these industries also depend on tourists to generate revenue. moreover, international tourism accounted for 4.1% of singapore's national GDP in 2017, with a direct contribution of $17.7 billion, which is still growing by the day. [ L ] hence, tourism plays an important role in helping to boost the economy.

In my opinion, museums are very important to the community today. Traditionally, the role of museums is to collect objects and materials with historical importance that are of different cultures and religions. Museums also ensure better understanding and appreciation for the various groups and cultures. Furthermore, museums help to preserve our collective heritage and connects us to our past.
