Specialization Specialization Specialization

That is the motto of Adam Smith, and that is why Capitalism works. Why do we all have cars, homes, and computers? Because of Specialization.

But why reserve specialization only for the college and post college level? The progress of human civilization Depends on specialization. Without specialization, we will never have the ability to advance technologically and economically and as fields become more complex and more difficult to master, we will soon need to specialize at an even younger age.

So how do we introduce specialization at a younger age? Simple, abolishing mandatory physical education. Let the nerds hang out with nerds in nerd classes and let the jocks hang out with jocks. They will specialize in their respective areas and then one day in the future they will be able to contribute to our society in their own specialized areas.

"Then, suddenly, Roger was back in the room. He closed the door this time and locked it as well. I tried to get up and yell but I couldn't. I was too weak to even sit up. He raped me in the bedroom, among a house full of people. It was the worst night of my life. Eventually my dorm mates found me and brought me to the nurses station. I filled out a report orally while she did tests."

If we know with absolute certainty that a member of society is a sexual offender, should he (and in the rare instance she) be chemically castrated? Well, why don't we look at the 2 classes of people most affected by such a policy?

Class A: The potential victims of sexual offense

I'm sick of wasting my first week of college learning how not to get raped. Don't we deserve a society where girls can attend a party without brining their own beverages? The use of chemical castration will prevent the the traumatic experiences of girls across America. Most guys have little understanding of how it feels to go through life always as a potential victim. And you know what? I think most girls shouldn't have to go through life as a potential victim either.

ClassB: Sex Offenders

A Sex offender is by definition an individual who's desire for sex has already overcome his (and in rare instances her) obligation to society. That means 2 things. First, he is a danger to society, and when released from prison, still a danger to society. After all, it's the one crime area with the highest likelihood for finding a repeat offender.

Second, it means that his sexual urges are a liability to HIMSELF. Think about it, for men who are sexual offenders, sex is no longer a past time, or a healthy activity. It is a liability to his potential, to his development of his talents. It is a liability to his future for employment and to the reputation of himself and his family. Isn't it better for society to just chemically castrate him? Heck, we can then even reduce his prison term. For one he'll be rehabilitated after the operation and for two, it would be punishment enough. And of course third, this will serve as deterrent to future sex offense.

So should first-time sex offenders be chemically castrated? Absolutely.
