i don't recall ever hearing a case that said that our parents ever wanted to change the name after all they are the tax payers that will have to pay for the change of the school. i also think that you shouldn't be able to pull the hes dieing card. not only that if he doesn't want it i think that we need to respect his wishes.
Irving ISD has a order of how they name the schools
elementary - city heroes
middle school - state heroes
high school - national heroes
why don't they just name an elementary after him
