Schizophrenics tend to be unable to justify their beliefs when questioned, I can justify mine in a totally sane way regardless of how insane it can appear to someone who hasn't understood reality yet.

If you really interpolated reality into your brain you would drool on yourself and have an aneurysm. There is absolutely no basis for a crazy female quantum computer with a bag of magic numerical units to pop out of nothing and generate reality. Numbers do not have substance, it is inherently insane to think that they can create something physical. It is inherently insane also to think the physical is an illusion and reality is subjective because it is physical processes that generate consciousness and provide you with something to subjectively perceive in the first place. Please do attempt to dispute this, I will be happy to elaborate.

That is my fault for being stupid.

If he is genetically stupid, and can't choose to be smart then how is it his fault?

My thoughts are that you are terminally butthurt after I destroyed your ridiculously stupid claims that it is impossible to invent new things.

My point wasn't that you can't invent new things, I was trying to explain to you that you aren't technically "creating" something because the human brain can only make connections and alterations of things that already exist. Absolutely nothing you invent is pulled out of the aether or purely derived from your own mind.

You are an idiot, FactMachine, and that is an actual fact.

I am the only person here who is not an idiot, so by calling me an idiot you admit that you are an idiot.

I believe opinions should be a privilege

I know that opinions are useless. There is no point to have opinions or beliefs at all, because only speculation and facts are scientifically valid.

But you don’t North from South

Idiot there's a difference between the geographical poles and magnetic poles.

No wonder you have a problem with words

You have a problem with the word Jew

Russia meddled, but Vlad said he didn't, so IN FRONT OF THE WORLD, Trump sided with Russia, instead of America..

America doesn't need Russia to meddle in it's elections, we have the Zionist Rothschild Illuminati to do that.

Your idea that their ideas are not objectively true, is just an idea.

Your idea that my idea that their ideas are not objectively true is just an idea is just an idea.

But I've just demonstrated that you can.

I will say it again, the human brain does not create new things, it derives them from pre-existing things.

No chance. Seagal is the size of a small planet. He'd just sit on you and suffocate you to death.

He's 6'4 300 lbs according to the internet. That's not a problem though, I beat a guy of similar size in kumite when I was only 15.

1 point

Yeah, but he's Out For Justice and Hard To Kill.

I bet I would beat him in a fight. I'm a black belt in seven martial arts.

The mistake you're making here is best illustrated by using music as an example. According to your theory humans don't create pieces of music because the notes already exist. But clearly this is false. It is humans who create music and the notes are merely their tools.

Yes and no. The overall point that I'm trying to make is not that you can't invent new things, but that you can't actually create something in the literal sense because everything you "create" is derived from other things. The human mind does not create ideas, it derives them.

Steven Seagal.

Be cereal Nom. Steven Seagal is a conservative. Plus his name is Steven, the only good Steven was Steve Irwin and he's dead.

Of course it should be regulated. The media is the battleground of a conflict of interest between business and truth.

I agree with you Nom, but the question is WHO should regulate it? If you have a government regulate it then the business bit will just be replaced with the state's interests or worse both will interfere with truth simultaneously (which is already the case in pretty much every country). And if you have "the people" regulating it then their ignorance and conflicts of interest will also get in the way. What ever are we to do?

1 point

Their mind is physical and objective as are the ideas in it if you're a physicalist.

That doesn't mean their ideas are objectively true, only that they objectively exist AS IDEAS. If I need to elaborate on that I may as well give up trying to reason with you at all.

it was a fun debate without much name calling

Nom is nicer to you because you're a girl.

the use of imagination or original ideas to create something

There are no original ideas because all ideas are derived from other ideas or information. Name an "original idea" that is not contingent upon other ideas and information which must be connected or altered to create the new idea.
