I think technological progress is bad because while it has the potential to be good, it also has the potential to be bad. A reason it is bad is because technology can become weaponized and become a threat to humans. Terrorists can also get a hold of technology and become an even bigger threat. Another reason is that it can be more irritating than helpful. For example, a device can break or malfunction, and run out of battery. It can be a hassle if you cannot keep it running. Another issue is connectivity issues, servers can go down, or you cannot connect to internet. It is very frustrating when these things do not work normally. While it can be good, such as advancing medical technology or saving lives, it can also do the opposite. We can use technology to create biological weapons using previous genes from deadly diseases. Overall, i think technology will become a threat to humanity if not contained.
