I disagree.

Isn't it unfair if you get to research WHILE debating? 'Cause in classroom debating we have a limited amount of time to speak our opinions, and we cannot research while doing so. When someone debates online and research at the same time, it is unfair to others who only depend on their knowledge on the topic to debate as the one who researches surely gets more points.

Also, if you show videos and pictures while debating, then it doesn't count as a debate anymore because debating is like public speaking. When you show videos and pictures, it has become more like a presentation, which is totally different.

Therefore,THE MOTION MUST FALL.

I disagree that online debating is more interesting than classroom debating.

This is because in online debating, we cannot express our thoughts with emotions and actions, whereas in classroom debating, we can express our opinions with hand gestures, facial expression and emphasis on words.

For example, in online debates, we can only put emphasis on words by capitalizing the words LIKE THIS. We cannot put more emphasis on our points using hand gestures or facial expression. This is different as compared to classroom debating, where we can make our points stronger by emphasizing on them and including facial expression and hand gestures while expressing our thoughts.

This is because in online debates, we only depend on the keyboard functions and word decorations such as bolding, italicizing and underlining. We can do so much more in classroom debating.

Therefore, I believe that the motion must fall.
