jesus never existed. here is another quote from R. G. Price - January 03, 2007 on "Jesus Myth - The Case Against Historical Christ"

.....'The core problem for the Jesus story is this:' .....'If Jesus was the Son of God and the Biblical accounts are accurate, then why is Jesus so glaringly absent from the other historical accounts of the Jesus time?' .....

......'If Jesus wasn't the Son of God but rather just a person, then how did nothing more than a "marginal Jew" become elevated to the status of God so shortly after his death and earthly burial? ....

Its practically impossible that jesus could have existed here on earth, NO!!!

jesus never existed. here is a quote from R. G. Price - January 03, 2007 on "Jesus Myth - The Case Against Historical Christ"

'If Jesus existed as described in the Gospels then surely Philo would have known about him' .....'If Philo had known about Jesus he surely would have written something about him' .... 'Instead, however, we see writings from Philo, such as “On the Embassy to Gaius”, which give no indication that anything special happened in Judea during the time when Jesus was supposedly preaching and was killed according to the Gospels' ....'Clearly Philo's ideas were in line with Christianity in many ways One example of this is Philo's discussion of the Creation' ......'From all of this we can see that Philo was a prime candidate to be an independent witness to Jesus Christ' .......'Yet, despite all this, not only does he not mention Jesus, but there is nothing in his writings to indicate that anything remarkable happened during the supposed time of Jesus' ......'What the works of Philo, and also Justus, demonstrate is that we do have high quality sources for potential independent witnesses to Jesus, it is not as though we are lacking potential sources, but they make no mention of Jesus Christ' [end of quote] Therefore jesus never existed.

jesus did not exist the reason is the following logic: at no point in time has anyone that we know of ever really known who wrote any of the gospels, when they were written, or even where they were written. gospels are not authenticated by any author or authors in any way. Therefore the story about a jesus in the gospels is not reliable and can not be taken or stand as evidence of the existence of jesus. Therefore, jesus never exited.

1 point

No, he did NOT exist because - consider this for example: if jesus existed and the son of god how possible is it that he is missing in jewish writtings such as "Early Jewish Writtings" [search for this and you will find no mention of jesus or christ] and yet there were a lot of scribes during the time he is purpoted to have existed?

On the other hand, if jesus existed and was an ordinary person, how is it possible that soon after his death his status suddenly rose to that of a son of god? This does not make sence, so NO jesus did not exist.

NO! NO! NO! jesus never existed no Why? because if he existed historians such as Philo of Alexandria would have written about jesus. In Philo's "On the Embassy to Gaius" in which he mentioned Pontius Pilate, there is completely no mention of Jesus or Christ and yet in this work Philo also discusses a number of ideas that demonstrate his deep concern for, and knowledge of, issues directly related to the Jewish religion. No seriously jesus never existed other wise his supposed fame and occurances or happenings at the time of his [jesus] purpoted death could not have been missed by Philo.

jesus was not a real person because the only source of his story is only the gospels nothing other than the gospels, how is this possible? why did other historians not write about jesus if he was a real person?

1 point

jesus was never, never, never a real person, NO, because if jesus was a real person the son of god and the Biblical accounts are accurate, then why is he so glaringly absent from the other historical accounts of the jesus time? WHY?

and / or

If jesus was a real person but wasn't the son of god but rather just an ordinary person, then how did nothing more than a "marginal Jew" become elevated to the status of god so shortly after his death and earthly burial? just HOW, can someone tell me?

If jesus was a real person, Philo of Alexandria would also written about him [jesus] in his Early Jewish Writtings such as the "On the Embassy to Gaius". There is NON not even a single mention of jesus in this Writting, so jesus was never a real person, NO

1 point

the available historical writtings by historians who were present during the suppossed life time of jesus do no say anything about jesus or ocurrances associated with jesus

1 point

jesus was neither real nor just some guy because; consider these 2 Qs: if he was real son of god how come he is almost absent from historical records other than the gospels? OR if he was just some guy how come his status rose to a son of god soon after his death?

1 point

Im an atheist but I find you seem to be mixedup...so how was god revealed to you? and by the way which god do you believe in? the christian god or muslim god?

1 point

...meaning that you have run short of evidence for the existence of Jesus....?

1 point

there is need to be specific about those secular sources in terms of who wrote what; when was it wrtten; where was it wrtten etc. Otherwise even secular sources could have written based on the gospels....why not?

1 point

Jesus Christ can not be fact because God/god/gods does not exist in real sense

1 point

Non of the critical events such as earth quake, rising of the dead etc, associated with Jesus Christ's story are recorded in non-religion historical writtings or books or records

1 point

Jesus Christ was fiction because his story sources are only the Gospels, only

1 point

If jesus was a fact he and everything about him would have been in most or all non-christian historical writtings such as the Early Jewish Writtings by Philo
