I believing comparing the two is wrong.

I am troubled by the comparison of community organizers and Jesus. When I hear the term Community Organizer (I'll reference from now on with CO) used in the media today it is in the context of speaking about Barack Obama. I have a difficult time comparing Jesus, who was not interested in politics to a CO who primarily is. Obviously, striving to help people in your community is admirable, but hardly Christ-like. I will spare you the biblical comparisons.

Jesus knew the answers "above his pay grade," while many CO's don't.

Added thought: I was referring to Steve Cohen (Congressman from Ten.) who this week in the House made the comparison that Jesus was a community organizer while Pontius Pilate was a Governor. The same quote was echoed by Donna Brazile and Susan Sarandon. It seems that many are drawing a comparison of Obama's community organizing experience is similar to what Jesus did. As a Christian, the argument, in many ways, is offensive.

Matt Damon can say whatever he wants to. You can see the same sort of underlying bravado in his comments about Palin as many of us saw in Good Will Hunting. I believe on some level Matt believes he's as intelligent as Will Hunting.

The bottom line is that Sarah Palin did not ban books from a Wasilla library. Matt supported Barack Obama for President before he announced his candidacy so in my opinion doesn't it render his argument about voting for someone due to lack of experience moot? In my opinion Matt's arguments are weak and full of contradictions.
