The younger generation is more fortunate in that they have more choices in what they want to profess in unlike their predecessors who have to follow a profession from young regardless of their interest.

Young people today also have more troubles and concerns compared to their predecessors.

Youths have to deal with the various expectations other people set for them in different areas of their lives such as in studies, sports and such. Furthermore, with the degree of transparency in the social lives of the generation today, we have to deal with the social pressure that our predecessors do not have to deal with. Therefore, the younger generation today might not be more fortunate than their predecessors.
