I am not sure exactly how, maybe a peaceful drowning or something. Whatever the case, I really want it to make a strong impact on people where they pull their families a little closer and realize how very important life is. Some people do not realize that death is the only reason that life means anything.

First off, we have no idea wheather or not Obama will live out his promises. How are we going to honor him if he fails as a president? If he ends up going back on everything he said like he has so far when it comes to same sex marraiges and ending the don't ask don't tell policy in the army?

Don't you guys want to see if releasing the terrorists in Guantanomo Bay onto American soil will cause another 9/11 before we honor our new president by allowing this actions and placing him on a 50 dollar bill?

I think 16 is a good age to begin driving but I don't believe they should be on the road without parental supervision. While I admire those teenagers who do drive responsibly the fact is, there are not many out there. I was headed home one day and seen a huge wreck caused by a 16 year old who was BS'ing with her friends and saw a light turn green out of the corner of her eye. Assuming it was her light without looking, she punched the gas and slammed into a car that was turning. At the time, she was taking care of her brother who was 2 years old and screaming uncontrolable and running in the street while the teen was crying over the accident and not paying attention to her brother who was almost hit by another car. When I reached him and carried him to the curb to calm him down 15 minutes had gone by and she didn't realize that I still had her brother.

Teens for the most part aren't responsible enough to drive in this day and age. As the world grows increasingly more busy, most teens are falling behind as far as maturity goes. With all the behavior modifications and distractions like cellphones, Ipods, cd changers, and about 5x the amount of people on the road, lack of hard work, more narssisistic attitudes, less responsibility and less punishments for irresponsibility; teens simply aren't as mature as they once were.

When the law allowed teens to drive there were few cars, more open roads, less congested cities, kids were more compassionate, they took on responsibilities with pleasure. Back then, a teen would never talk back to their parents like they do now. I'm only 29 and even ten years ago I would have NEVER cussed in front of my mother, I would have been smacked in the mouth. But as the laws change to protect kids to the extent of coddling, the respect, responsibility and maturity that comes with teenage life goes out the window.

This is a very touchy subject for me. My religion doesn't approve of abortion and I PERSONALLY am not for it. However, I do believe that states should have the right to decide what is best for their state. I also believe personally that abortion should be illegal unless in extreem situations. I feel that anyone who lays down willingly <-- inficized on willingly, should have to carry the responsibility of the child or give it up for adoption.

I do not believe that it should be illegal in extreem cases such as; rape, drug addiction, incest or a child. However, I believe in order to have an abortion, there should be a police report on the rape and a police report stating, "hey, I was breaking the law doing drugs, ended up pregnant and need an abortion." We already have a law that says you can drop off any baby you don't want at a police station, hospital or fire department without persicution.

As far as a child is concerned, if the child is under 12, there should be an investigation and mommy and daddy need to be arrested for allowing that child to be left unattended in order to get pregnant.

While I agree that the first step is to increase taxes for the wealthy and lower them for the middle and lower class, I believe we must do more because this alone wil not fix the economy.

One idea is to give economic stimulous checks but this is a quick fix not a lasting one. It will help the economy long enough to empliment a more permanant fix.

Another idea is for welfare reform, only we must direct it more tward undocumented individuals. While people who are document and speak english have a spacific amount of time to find a job and get off welfare, those who are not documented do not have to do anything. The reason is because they are undocumented, and also because they do not speak english in order to get a job. Therefore, the logical thing to do would be make english the national official language of this country. When an undocumented person applys for state assistance they should be taught to speak english so they can find a job. Those who have no need to find a job are not helping our economy, they are sitting on welfare for 10 to 15 years without contributing to our economy and since about 50% of people on welfare are undocumented we lose hundreds of billions of dollars throughout the nation every year.

Another idea is to amend the appeal process for people on death row. Having a man sit on death row for 40 years because he refuses to file his three appeals nessisary to put him to death. Therefore, the country is paying not only billions to let them live every year, it is crowding the prisons so that other offenders are left on the streets and encourage other people to offend knowing they will not go to prison. I feel that a person on death row should have no more then two years to file an appeal or forfit that appeal and move on to the next. There should be no reason that a person should stay on death row no more then 7 years before being put to death.

This will not only save billions of dollars per year but will provide more room for harsh offenders, ensure public safty, and encourage people to think twice before doing something that will result in someone elses death.
