It should be legal because this is a free country isn't it, people have the mind to make their own decisions. If they decide to smoke then that's on them. Everyone knows they are harmful to the body and understand that they are contained of harmful chemicals BUT they decide to do that. The government should not be able to make tobacco illegal just because it's harmful. We understand that, we are all human beings and always have to put up with things we don't like... if someone doesn't like something people are told to deal with it. They have the age limit of buying tobacco at 18 and they should leave it at that, eventually people will quit because it gets old. But it's just like weed, it's banned and illegal but people always find a way to get it. So what makes you guys think if they make smoking cigarettes illegal that the smokers are going to quit? I know I never smoke around anyone who doesn't smoke unless I ask first. I never smoke around kids and I'm always smoking outside. There's nothing wrong with smoking cigarettes... at least it doesn't get you high and make you stupid and the same with alcohol, you get drunk and you act stupid... Cigarettes don't do that, it may hurt your body like alcohol but it doesn't make you do stupid things. This is why I believe cigarette smoking shouldn't be banned.
