I get really annoyed by most videos in arguments and debates. Especially if the debate is supposed to center around it. I'd much prefer a summary than to sit through up to ten minutes of crap in order to formulate a response. I don't mind a quick little funny excerpt, but that's about it. Otherwise, I'd like people to be original and write something.

Linking is lazy.

By posting a video you are doing nothing more than copying and pasting/plagiarizing your arguement, it is neither original nor an effective way of debating.

video is not about just copying it states about some relevant ideas supporting the topic

Side: No

I don't mind them if they are apropos to the debate but nothing of great length stays my attention. Two minutes or less is usually a good rule of thumb for me. I remember once someone put up an entire movie to watch here on CD. Rather than watch it here, I had remembered what it was and went out to buy it so I could watch it at my leisure. If I had to sit through that here I'd have commited suicide by the end, LOL!

It's best to have a link if possible to back up what you're saying,

but it does little good to have a link alone.

best to describe what your talking about, then have a link to back it up... I think anyway.

I think a reliable source/video is good to justify your opinion. Plus providing some facts to your argument, in my humble opinion, is necessary.
