Does the Kim Jong Un have any idea of what he is doing?
He seems to be a young adolescent kid, whom gotten power way to early, and doesn't seem to take his position seriously... I want to see what you all think, anyone have anything to contribute?

He is one of the most inspirational and thought-provoking leaders of this millenium. He is an utter genius when it comes to philosophical debates Yes, I think he knows exactly what he's doing. He'll back down right at the last minute and using his absolute control over the state media in North Korea, inform the population that the US has capitulated to his demands. In so doing, he will have consolidated his authority and experience in the eyes of the North Korean people and military. Remember, this guy was schooled in some of the finest educational institutions in Europe. He knows full well what Western military assets are capable of doing and is unlikely to want to go toe-to-toe with that kind of firepower. This is all nothing more than grandstanding and, according to people I've spoken with in Japan and South Korea, it's what they've come to expect and they're not at all concerned about any real escalation. |
