I am not a Christian, I am a Messianic Jew by conversion!
There is a difference and the next person to call me a Christian gets bitched out!
Ismaila, Since I didn't know anything about Messianic Jews before today, I did a little research. Here is what I found: Jews who accept Jesus Christ (Yeshua) as the Messiah are members of the Messianic Judaism movement. They seek to retain their Jewish heritage and follow a Jewish lifestyle, while at the same time embracing Christian theology. So you are a Jew who follows Christ. Therefore aren't you both Jewish and Christian? I am curious why you say you are not? Wait, I don't know if you can be a Messianic Jew, because you are not a Jew by heritage... Uh, well good for you? I don't see the need for you to go around parading your religion! I don't see and Muslims or Buddhists, or even any Christians saying " Hey I'm a Christian, and don;t you forget it!" Good for you, you;re embracing a religion (sigh) but if so, no need to go around parading it! |
