Fuck sports. Male soccer is the only good sport, and that is only because the males are a pleasure to watch. Other than that, the sports industry is the biggest scheme out there. Governments pay hundreds of millions of dollars to build arenas, use eminent domain to evict people from their homes to build arenas, upset local businesses with the massive traffic, and let the teams take the vast majority of profits. Governments should be ashamed for being so taken advantage of. the idiocy of rabid sports fans

I have ever since I was a kid, back in the Broad Street Bully days. Bobby Clarke was a favorite of mine. And the Hammer...Dave Schultz. In fact I still do like them. They're my second team after my Wings. But no, not a good season this year for em. Terrible goaltending. Oh and as you say....nothing like playoff hockey! Of all the major sports, I think that the ramp up in the level of speed and intensity during the playoffs is the most noticeable in the NHL. The long season is a survival contest! And the Stanley Cup is the greatest trophy in sports. With this best tradition! How cool to get your name on it! And to get to skate around the ice with it. No other sport offers that! Thanks! 1
