Religion can be dangerous. For example crusaders killed a lot of people of different religion. The Inquisition carried out its torture in the name of God. That's why religion shouldn't be used in politics because it can controll people in bad ways.

Religion, however strong it may be, is only another way in which we separate people. We can only have peace if we stop looking at ourselves as this or that and look at ourselves as a single population, species, and race. Religion is keeping us away from new ideas and different people and therefore can never bring peace.

Religion is without a doubt the worst aspect of human existence today. While each religion had its golden age, it now does nothing but prohibit the expansion of thinking and rights. It absolutely has no place in the modern world.

It's a big time war causer.

I've seen marriages fall apart because of religious differences. Friendships end as well. So it's just not big wars, little wars are just as bad.
