Prostitution Is Not Morally Wrong

Prositution (having sex with people if they pay you) is a highly contraversal issue. In many countries it is illegal. For example, America. Describe LOGICAL reasons for it being right or wrong.

It disrespects the human dignity and holiness. Prostitution is a perversion of marriage. It's like putting a Bible in the middle of The Conclave and each of the archbishops tearing a page out and stomping the Dinosaur Dance on the page. Besides even prostitutes know its wrong. They call it being "shy", when in reality it's their last hope of redemption (oftentimes) diminishing into an ember so small you could put it in your eye and you wouldn't feel the pain. Prostitutes often become porn stars as well. They lose their shame. And it's utterly disgustingly sacrilegious against God and the Holy Communion of marriage.

Firstly,

1) Why should it be illegal to sell something you can give away for free?

2) Prostitution allows women to earn money way beyond that of their similarly uneducated peers. It is a means for them to fund an education when all else fails.

3) If they practice safe sex and have constant health checks, they have a lower risk of having STDs than your average girl that has health checks.

4) If it legal, these girls will have a means to protect themselves against aggressive men.

5) For guys that are otherwise unable to attract a decent girl (due to looks, or poor self esteem), it is a life line for them to experience that aspect of life (which is a basic human desire).

6) It takes away the power of attractive woman over men, because if men cannot attract an attractive woman, they can buy one.

7) There is no commitment involved, it is fully understood before hand that the reason for the act is purely business. No child support, no obligations, just pure carnal sex. This will lead to less guys lying to woman in order to 'get them into bed'.

8) It is not demeaning to woman's body's if they have sex of their own will.

9) Society's in which prostitution is legal have lower incidents of rape, murder and crimes.

10) Girls that resort to drugs after becoming prostitutes is a correlation. It is their own personal choice. This does not mean all girls that are prostitutes will take drugs. It is a stereotype.

Morally wrong depends on who is claiming it. If the prostitute feels justified in what she is doing, she is not doing anything morally wrong, even if religious people and police say otherwise.

1) It is not a taxable profession, therefore, people that are prostitutes are not contributing to government funds. This means, less money goes towards roads, and the countries development.

2) Unchecked prostitutes will have a higher chance of attaining and spreading diseases.

3) It gives pretty girls a easy way out. It will be motivation to not further their education.

4) It opens the doors for pretty girls to be exploited for money (pimping), and made into slaves.

5) It reduces the need for guys to work hard in order to impress girls (which might be responsible for a lot of society's developments.)

1. It is absolutely a taxable profession. In places where it is legal, it is taxed. In places where it is illegal, it still goes on, but it's not taxed.

2. If the buisness is legalized and regulated there won't be any "unchecked prostitutes." They are required to get checked to work. In places where it is illegal, all prostitutes are "unchecked."

3. Generally girls who are strippers or prostitutes know their time is limited. Their profession it dependent on them looking good, which they won't indefinitely. If you're making easy money flipping burgers, that's not a lot of motivation to get out. You can do it forever and flipping burgers it's that bad. If you're stripping for or fucking complete strangers, that sucks and your time is limited. That is motivation to get out.

Besides, we don't make any other industry illegal on the basis that it's "an easy way out."

4. No, currently, where prostitution is illegal, girls are exploited and forced to work like sex slaves by their pimps. If the industry was legalized, regulated, and restricted, there would be minimum wages, health benefits, regular checkups, paid time off, hour limits, overtime, etc. As it is pimps usually just get the girls addicted to crack of meth and then they're stuck in the business until they pay off their debt, which is never. That wouldn't happen in a monitored industry.

5. You don't have to "work hard" to get laid, you just need to be a callous dickhole with a credit card. Also based on what I know of pricing in prostitution, it's actually a good bit cheaper to drop some money and get a girl and get laid regularly as opposed to dropping a few hundred dollars every time you want to fuck. I've had expensive girlfriends in the past, but never anything close to roughly $300 spent for every time we had sex. So if anything prostitution would encourage guys to work harder, because you need to work to get money and prostitutes are more expensive than regular girls.

Also, what societal developments are you talking about? Generally when I see guys trying to impress girls it's by flexing a bunch of drinking a whole lot... not exactly groundbreaking activities, there.

1) it's as taxable as any other service offered by self employee

2) condoms & regular checks?

3) that's their business, isn't it?

4) that is already happening, if legal they wouldn't need a pimp...

5) so chicks should offer something too, not just waiting whats who going to buy them.. which makes them hookers anyway

They can't tax the paychecks of the people on top?

2) Unchecked prostitutes will have a higher chance of attaining and spreading diseases.

Prostitution being legalized will allow us to regulate it better and require medical check ups.

3) It gives pretty girls a easy way out. It will be motivation to not further their education.

So does retail stores, and fast food places, you work their long enough you are bound to go up the chain and secure a career with no education necessary.

5) It reduces the need for guys to work hard in order to impress girls (which might be responsible for a lot of society's developments.)

This is the case whether or not prostitution is legal, gender roles have already been placed and strongly supported by social rule.
