It’s not news, its “information used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.” (Oxford’s definition of propaganda)

Just because it favors your own views doesn’t mean that it is any less bias or irrational.

People can be made aware of discrimination as an issue without the use of clever rhetoric.

The FACT that people use these search term is very troubling.

I agree that discrimination is wrong. I agree that it is unfortunate that so many people have been victims of discrimination throughout history. I agree that discrimination is still a problem today for many people.

The fact that people use these terms in their web searches doesn’t mean that they all agree with the view. It is not a good measure of how people think or how frequent discrimination occurs in practice.

The fact that gender discrimination is frequently searched for could be viewed as a reflection of people’s awareness to it as a significant issue, in that sense it is not troubling at all. I would rather people be aware of it then ignore it.
