Was The UN Right To Get Involved With the Syria Crisis?

Well, were they? What did it do for them?

Okay, yes they were. It's human rights, guys! What were they supposed to do, stand there? Watch the genocides occur?

Part of me feels the Syrians need to fight it out like every other country did, but the other half feels the war needs to be stopped. If there is an intervention, it needs to be done properly. By that I mean no NATO countries. The intervention should be made up of Arab UN troops in blue helmets. This ensures there are no ulterior motives of the forces.

Side: Definitely

Oh yeah..., my fiends did that for me. They had an intervention and they vented. They were pissed me for mercilessly trolling them and it worked. I am now a kinder, gentler, troll ;)

i agree with UN to be there to make the position better so far for the non--militant general people of shyria.

Side: Definitely

The UN should get involved in any crisis; not just Syria.

seriously why get in involved in something you are not wanted

Side: Nope

I do not think they were right in getting involved. This is not their fight. The problem with getting involved in this crisis is we are not ready for what responses Syria's opposition may do. Now.. Russia is one of the countries that is showing an interest in this crisis..

If Russia decide to fund Syria's opposition with weapons and Britain is funding Syria will that not start a conflict between Russia and Britain? I understand the fact that people are dying. But you must understand that actions have consequences and getting involved by supplying weapons to Syria will have repercussions. The two leaders should sit down and talk.
