The Onion. America's finest news source.

New York Times. By far.

Best reporting. Best Opinion pages. Best Graphics and Data. Best everything...

Russia Today always puts up some interesting videos, I tend to find them quite objective.

Al Jazeera's another great one, especially for news on the Middle East, but they can be reasonably biased, being owned by Qatar, from time to time.

The Economist is always worth reading, but just as much for the comments, I normally find them at least half as intelligent as the articles.

Reuters, I like. Short, simple paragraphs, doesn't go into much detail I find, but it gives you a good spread of a topic & lets you decide your stance and makes for relatively easy reading.

MSNBC because of Rachel Maddow. She is very well-educated and her commentaries are spot-on.

The best?

Eh. All are quite decent in their reporting some way or the other.

I personally prefer Reason since they seem to be extremely thorough in their analysis of just about everything. Articles are released every few hours adding on information about various topics.

Of course I discovered Reason due to my Libertarian leaning views, but this is a magazine that hasn't failed to impress me in their accuracy and honesty. Even certain Liberals have payed homage to the magazine for their transparency and objectivity.

Most articles are met with a Libertarian slant, though, but I don't see it getting in the way of the vigorous honesty that they provide. I feel like I'm reading very well written arguments instead of just one sided lunacy (like Newsweek or Rolling Stone).

I'd put the Cato Institute up here, but they're considered a Think Tank. They do their own research (and have even convinced many global warming skeptics that global warming is real due to their honesty and transparency in research).

on a final note, the arguments aren't fallacious.

Something I noticed about the New York Times (since Apollo says they're awesome) is that they'll say that the birth control situation, currently, is about Women's rights. Reason, however, pointed out that not giving someone FREE birth control is not the same as taking away their rights.

The NYT fails where Reason succeeds, and that's keeping the argument honest.

Makes sense. It's a lot harder to be honest when you're a Liberal.

side note: No other news team has something like "Brick Bats", which is unbiased reporting of what Libertarians would automatically consider "injustices" in the world.

It's sort of like "hey, look what happened" and the audience already knows that it's terrible. They don't need a Libertarian perspective.

Jesus fucking christ.

It's about supplying birth control to women, who work in a job, that provides health care, which they pay for.

It's not fucking giving away contraceptives. Reason should try doing some research instead of spewing strawmen apparently.

It's not harder to be honest when you're a liberal, it's just harder to swallow right wing bs when you have facts... yeah yeah, libertarian, which happens to take a hard right stance when it comes to vaginas apparently now.

No. The government is forcing healthcare companies to give a product away for free.

Many insurance companies already provide birth control. But those that don't wish to aren't denying women their "rights."

clearly you have not read any of the articles...
