Why don't they just teach kids how to masturbate and provide them with porn?

This would be a lot cheaper than providing kids with condoms in school.  it is also a lot safer with regards to sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies.  It also prepares the child for adult life when they are in the middle of a dry spell ;)

I agree. But mostly because: I think it would be hilarious.

It would also be immensely useful if schools would teach students the difference between porn and real-life sex (e.g. don't switch between ahem orifices without giving your instrument a rinse first, the Kama Sutra is only suitable for professional acrobats, most guys can't really last the whole night, etc...)

It might reduce unwanted pregnancy, STDs, injuries from dangerous sex practices, and feelings of sexual inadequacy/dissatisfaction. And it'll leave moral guardians with less anti-porn ammunition.

The Kamasutra clearly illustrates a man with a strap on. Then again, that is a lot of girls.

...

More on topic, I think it would be useful, but despite all the good stated by Peekaboo, the paladins do not really care about welfare. The care about offence and not being offended. This idea is to offensive so for whatever reason it must be wrong.

Condoms also serve as a Kleenex. It captures the mess and you just throw it away when you're done.

But Kleenex are greener for the environment.

Unless you recycle the condom.

You know, in my day, we didn't talk about this stuff ;)

Well, masturbation should be encouraged (I remember it kind of was at my school). Porn wasn't encouraged, but that's because of society's current view on porn as being immoral and bullshit like that.

What's amazing about me looking at porn when I'm high is that I analyze how we, as humans, have found visual stimulants to help us when we pleasure ourselves. Orgasms are necessary for human beings. It's part of nature to want to orgasm (especially with a mate, but let's face it, that's not always the case in the human world) so that's why we just masturbate all the time. The porn industry, knowing it or not, are appealing to the human being's most basic want/need by providing us with a good that will greatly enhance our masturbation experience. People talk so much shit about porn, but it's natural for us to want to view it. If anything, it's healthy.

To be honest, I don't think I knew a single person in High School that needed help figuring out how to masturbate or getting a hold of porn. I'd argue the same for Middle School, and I went to a sheltered private school. Ultimately, offering this as an alternative to handing out condoms will do a lot more harm than good.

Kids will always want to have sex. The irresponsible ones are going to be irresponsible no matter what you teach them. There's no changing that. Making birth control unavailable will only prevent kids that would use it (but can't afford it/cant buy it) from accessing it.
