Personally i disagree with everything you said because taxation is needed in a democracy to fund public education, city keep up, and much more. Secondly we are strictly speaking of living under a democracy which being spied on is only conspiracy and cannot be proven. Without a population large enough for military drafting must happen unless you want a weak country that could also be easily taken over due to the lack of over watch. Without government everything would become pure chaos. Lastly government is needed for a strong society and what you just described is a complete anarchy euphoria.

The two sided argument surrounding the need for government is long debated but presumably there is one clear answer. The government is needed for many crucial things. Firstly, everything is regulated meaning without government there would be no FDA or EPA. The lack of these would pose the obvious reason which would be food could be contaminated along with drugs and water. Which leads to medicine and government funded healthcare. This is very important because without the annual checks and vaccines the Us would become disease infested and wouldn't have any regulatory pharmaceuticals to fix the issue. Thirdly we wouldn't have the basic protection of the military which would knock us off as being a very prominent and powerful country. Fourthly there would be no taxes meaning no government funded education, roadwork ect. Also an anarchy would bring the crime rate very high and we wouldn't have a law system. Lastly a government runned world isn't always better but in the case of democracy it is.
