Students should have the right to express themselves through clothing since most of their other ways of expressing themselves have already been eliminated

Every situation, whether you've one wrong or right deserves consequences. If someone does wrong, they deserved to punished. Granted there punishment should only be decided by the severity of their wrongdoing. No matter how minuscule the incident, people should be punished. Forgiveness will only let the person off, and won't be an easy reminder to stop and think before the do wrong again.
