You did not challenge him because of his comments in general, your response was specifically tailored out of misunderstanding - that you thought he was talking to you. Don't lie, you entered our conversation because you selfishly thought he was talking to you, not out of some moralistic duty.

I shall do as I please, thank you.

In future, you may refrain from signing off with your silly username, it is clear for all to see who you are - no need to grant yourself supposed importance. I can see why you are so fond of him now...

I am not a topic nor any other form of Nazi.

Must say, that was quite a reactionary response to someone you've never talked to before. What made you think he was talking to you when your name was never explicitly or inexplicitly mentioned? Just curious :)

I'm not active on this site anymore, haven't been for some years. Just pop back every few months or so to see how things are going.

Hmm, that's interesting?

You do realise that he was talking to me, not you, right? Feel free to fight the good fight and all but, I'm not sure what you're replying to here..!

But yes, he is something of a hypocrite isn't he!

I'm not sure me being a 23 year old MSc student, who is also engaged, fits his "resentful old man" line however.. Perhaps that one was meant for you? ;)

Firstly might I say that your call for rational discourse is severely undermined, not only by your offering the same argument to both sides of the poll, but by your reply to me! You are aware that rationality as a scientific means of thinking is of careful consideration, calculated responses and a detachment from irrational thinking (emotions)? As enjoyable as your tirade was to read, it was just about the most aggressive, nonsensical and yes, irrational one I could've expected! As for your assessment of my intellect, I'll take my academic qualifications over your cursory observations.

Now on to the more interesting part.. You refer to me as NOMSHIT, which is either an insult serving as further proof of the degradation and stupification of the English language, or a user you have mistaken me for. I'm intrigued, please fill me in :)

Lastly, I have never once been banned from this site. In fact, I once won a shirt! Still have it. Might I suggest you calm yourself, else my "arrested intellect" will soon be replaced by your arrested heart.

Citation for the number please, as is this 80,000 in the US alone, and for the entire year of 2018 or just the winter months. What about leading into 2019. End of 2017??

Cite.

No, you would not be, as there was no domestic nor international campaign for the use of masks in 2018, there was little NHS guidance for example in the UK, yet during coronavirus, signs asking you to wear masks, both government issued and private can be seen everywhere.

Different circumstances. Question is, do you think the government should have done more in 2018, e.g. masks campaigning, or should be doing less now? This post smacks of antivax.

EDIT

Apologies, I see the source cited now :)

Grandma is too old to be partying...

I jest. Obama is responsible for 7 wars in as many years, you'd think that'd be the greater stain on his legacy?

Such a shame, what could've been a passingly interesting question ruined by mundane US domestic politics wars and a debate host who seems more interested in proselytising his own opinions, rather than encouraging debate between and discussion of others.

1. Hey, glad you're still around.

2. Cartman is a dad now - man, congrats to him :D It's nice to hear all the old blokes doing well heh

Why do people try to convert? Surely letting God into your life, if you feel inclined to do so, is a personal thing. If you have to be convinced to believe by a fellow human, surely your 'belief' is a bit bollocks.

Oh, oh wait, I do apologise. What was I thinking, trying to discuss religious matters on CD! Foolish.. Hey OP, you have a good day now x

Aye, it's like that sometimes.... Who knows - maybe we once had a FIERCE argument some 8 years ago. Being the child I was, I'd hate to know that I'd still be chatting to people here in my 20's :D All the best

8 years huh? Very cool. I like to drop back in every 6 months or so :) Still got the t-shirt heh

You were paid nothing to say this, and yet you did. Precious <3

No, I believe that once I die, all life will die with me.

I will make sure of it, von neumann style :)

I mean, as far as mother nature is concerned (as all good environmentalists should be also)...

I'm tired, I was going to write about how its our evolutionary duty to look after ourselves first, animals second, but, I cba to structure it properly, you can work it out for yourselves. I don't buy the "we're intelligent enough to be responsible for the planet" argument either, the planet and life is way older than us, and if we fuck it up it'll fix itself eventually. if you wanna save the planet, do it for humans, not birbs. Although birbs are cute too so, do it for them :)

I happen to agree. Though I think the right wing is (traditionally at least, when the world isn't on it;s head!) far more aggressive in its approach, though usually more honest about it. Modern folk are making words like "liberal" "left wing" "feminist" etc bad words... I guess it's their turn? xD

Pfft, every side and each outlet and individual are guilty of producing propaganda. Which side is more susceptible to it, and which produces more.. Now, that's not for me to answer ;)

Tbh I did get bored with some of the debates on here... Especially when you prove someone wrong and they're too proud to admit it, just makes it a waste of time :')

What sane individual on Earth would mind being labelled a "bully" by someone they consider to be far worse..?

There are far more cutting remarks than being called a "bully" by someone who favours races and puts faith in eugenics or whatever. Debate is fine, differing opinions are fine, but misusing the word 'bully', or any other word for that matter, is just silly.

If I say I don't like Islam and it's teachings, and someone calls me 'racist' for that, they're just wrong, they're misusing the word. If I said they were 'bullying' me, that would also be wrong of me. And super lame too, very thin-skinned... Name calling, pfft, weak.

Life's a bummer. Depending on where you're getting this degree from, you're all being cheated out of muchos £££/$$$ in tuition fees/maintenance loans. If someone has found a way to make it a little easier to get their degree, even at the cost of others, I say good for them. Every one of your coursemates is a future rival, can't blame some for trying to get ahead. Let them cheat, but if they get caught, no sympathy.

Edit because you all used to be pedantic fuckers when it came to typos, and I'm not taking any chances ;)
