Can you clarify how you are comparing the long history of KKK of terrorism against a targeted group of people based on race to BLM which is an actual organization founded on the premise that police reform is badly needed to address things such as police brutality and misconduct, lack of accountability, and the disproportionate ways these issues have impacted people of color for centuries.
BLM does not have a creed or history of discriminating against another group of people based on race such as groups like the KKK.
Usually when people think that BLM is a racists group they don't actually understand how, when, and why the BLM Organization was founded. They also confuse the organization with random agitators that some media entertainment shows seek to magnify to support an agenda. It is also for some to accept that BLM is racists in order to deny or minimize that there is a history of authorities discriminating against people of color on individual level as well as systemic.
BLM defends against police brutality against all people while at the same time acknowledging that this is an issue that disproportionately effect black people, hence the name Black Lives Matter.
BLM isn't against all lives matter in the sense that life is precious, but when the expression All Live Matter is used against BLM causes it is again used minimize or deny that there is an issue particularly with people of color and law enforcement. For some people it is hard to believe that such institutions that have been generally upheld as noble and sacred can have a history of corruption and racism and still do currently.
Define "they" because the sources that stated it was Antifa knowing lied about it because they knew this wasn't good. Then there are those who consumed this media and believed it without question. These people have a view of the world that everything bad that happens must have been done by a minority group or people of color. The last "they" would be the people who actually were rioting at the Capitol who think the riots were absolutely a great thing. These people include average Trump supporter all the way to extreme white nationalist and Nazi groups.
