I believe it's true. Humans did evolve tremendously over the past few decades, both psychologically as well as physically. The day to day pressures surrounding each individual might have triggered this change.

I don't find any reason for it to be Illegal.

This might sound a little old, but I strongly believe that two people who are fond of each other deserve to be with each other. Why does it matter so much to the society whether they are of the same sex or not anyways?A lot more orphaned children might get adopted and they might just get a better future.Think about it!No harm done there.

Restricting gay marriage by law is just plain bullshit.Period.

I'm just here for an opinion on this subject.

Frankly speaking, I'm not very sure about the existence of "selfless love". There are times when I've felt there is no such thing. But then later in my life, there were these moments that left me perplexed. It's weird but I still cannot come to a conclusion.

“When you are in love, it means that the person you love is of great personal, selfish importance to you and to your life. If you were selfless, it would have to mean that you derive no personal pleasure or happiness from the company and the existence of the person you love, and that you are motivated only by self-sacrificial pity for that person's need of you. I don't have to point out to you that no one would be flattered by, nor would accept, a concept of that kind. Love is not self-sacrifice, but the most profound assertion of your own needs and values. It is for your own happiness that you need the person you love, and that is the greatest compliment, the greatest tribute you can pay to that person.”

So you're saying that one simply CANNOT love another person more than himself or herself? In another words, love and selfishness comes in a package.
