Some of them are, some of them are the opposite. This is what retards like Dermot don't understand about rap, there are many different kinds of rappers with many different kinds of subject matter and levels of lyrical complexity. Most rappers happen to be stupid because most people happen to be stupid, but rap in and of itself is a form of music which is designed to place emphasis on lyrics moreso than any other form of music. Which makes it the best form of music for advanced lyricism and to promote a message through the music. As far as music itself goes classical music is the best, but lyrically rap is the most advanced. Side: Yes they are/can be

No, although they CAN influence our generation they have a choice whether to be that way or not. The rappers we listen to now could be bad influences but that doesn't mean the listeners are gonna be that way. Someone could listen to music but choose to be the complete opposite but still like the music. Therefore its about how the person listening to the music is and does not mean that they are gonna be severely influenced by it. Side: No they’re not.
